In Factory Capers, you cannot charge ride admissions, only a park fee at the entrance gate. There is one major change in this scenario from the previous two. This is a very easy scenario to win.įactory Capers Objective: Get at least 1100 guests in your park by the end of October, Year 3, with a park rating of at least 600.įactory Capers can be approached much like Electric Fields. I built two junior coasters, a ferris wheel, a log flume, and a few other very small attractions, and that seemed to do the trick. While this park comes with a prebuilt path system, people don?t seem to get too lost, not as much as the Crazy Castle scenario. 1400 people is a lot of people to feed, so expect to build several of those shops and stalls in the park.Įlectric Fields Objective: Get at least 700 guests in your park by the end of October, Year 2, with a park rating of at least 600.Įlectric Fields seems to have several rainy days, so be sure to build a few Information Kiosks for selling umbrellas- they will be needed. Fill in the remaining land with the appropriate gentle and thrill rides, and of course shops and stalls. People are always willing to pay more for a newer coaster. As always, be sure to jack up the ride prices above the default settings. Coasters are very necessary in this scenario, as they usually attract a lot of guests. The scenario allows for a $35,000 loan maximum, which should allow you to build a couple small coasters. Start off with an Information Kiosk near the park entrance so people can buy an umbrella or park map as they enter (you can add another Kiosk in your park, further to the back for later use to buy umbrellas for those rainy days). These will confuse the guests quite a bit, so use the banners and make "No Entry" banners on those extra paths, so the guests are limited to the middle of the park, which is where I would suggest building your park. In Crazy Castle, there is an entire layout of paths. You can get through this scenario using the prebuilt rides from Chris Sawyer if you'd like. You will need to so some researching to get some additional rides and stalls, but not too many are needed. In addition to the scenarios included in the base game and expansion packs, there were 16 "classic" scenarios from the original RollerCoaster Tycoon available to download from the game's official website. After finishing this, the park will be placed in the Other Parks folder. You choose the objective and what rides are available at the start. Also, Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 (and 3) let you create your own scenario. In this, there is the six "Build Your Own" parks.

Note: This game was released back when Six Flags had control over the Belgium and Holland parks. The 'Real' Parks section has the five Six Flags Parks: Belgium, Great Adventure, Holland, Magic Mountain, Over Texas. The Expert Parks category holds five different scenarios including Lucky Lake and Ghost Town. These include Amity Airfield, Bumbly Bazaar, and others. There are seven scenarios located within Challenging Parks. In Beginner Parks, there are three scenarios: Crazy Castle, Electric Fields, and Factory Capers. All twenty-six scenarios are placed into five folders: Beginner Parks, Challenging Parks, Expert Parks, 'Real' Parks, and Other Parks.

One more scenario is a "Build Your Own" but has you building your own Six Flags park from the start. Another five scenarios are called "Build You Own" where take over the Six Flags park with no rides in the park.

Of these, five are already completed (Belgium, Great Adventure, Holland, Magic Mountain, Over Texas) and can be added to. There is a total of 26 scenarios in this game. They are Alton Towers, Heide-Park, and Blackpool Pleasure Beach. There are three real life parks in this game. The Added Attractions and Loopy Landscapes expansion packs add additional scenarios making the total about 85 (86 if Mega Park is unlocked). The scenarios for the most part get progressively harder to complete. As scenarios are completed more are unlocked.
